BİM Birleşik Mağazalar A.Ş., the company having the highest market share in organized retail sector in Türkiye, started its operations with 21 stores in 1995. BİM’s core principle is to provide the consumers with the basic food items and consumer goods combining high quality and best affordable prices. The pioneer of the hard-discount model in Türkiye, BİM’s product portfolio includes around 900 items and also aims to offer large range of private label products to its customers.

BİM continued to pursue the policy of opening new stores and increase its turnover steadily also in 2024. As of the end of 2024, BİM has 12,089 stores (12,376 stores including FILE stores) in Türkiye by opening 886 (+51 FİLE) new stores in 2024. BİM continues its development and growth with its efficient cost management policy without compromising its quality and customer satisfaction approach.

BİM operates not only in Türkiye but also abroad including in Morocco and Egypt. By opening 102 new stores in Morocco in 2024, it reached a total of 789 stores in that country while in Egypt, its second international operation, it has 418 stores at the end of 2024. As of the end of 2024, BİM has 13,583 stores in Türkiye as well as Morocco and Egypt.

BİM stands out not only in terms of turnover, but also in terms of consolidated number of 95,630 employees including 4,652 office personnel, 9,380 warehouse personnel and 81,598 store personnel as of end of 2024.
