BİM Birleşik Mağazalar A.Ş., the
company having the highest market share in organized retail sector in Türkiye,
started its operations with 21 stores in 1995. BİM’s core principle is to
provide the consumers with the basic food items and consumer goods combining
high quality and best affordable prices. The pioneer of the hard-discount model
in Türkiye, BİM’s product portfolio includes around 1000 items and also aims to
offer large range of private label products to its customers.
BİM continued its steady growth
trajectory in 2025. By opening 662 new stores domestically during the year, the
Company reached a total of 12,751 stores in Türkiye as of year-end 2025. BİM
continues to grow through its efficient cost management policy without
compromising its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
BİM launched its new retail
format, FİLE, in March 2015. Combining the discount retail concept with the
supermarket approach, FİLE has gained customer appreciation by offering a
strong assortment of fresh, high-quality, and diverse products, and has
established a significant position in the retail sector within a short period
of time. As of year-end 2025, FİLE continues its operations with 344 stores and
4 logistics centers across 34 cities.
BİM operates not only in Türkiye
but also abroad, in Morocco and Egypt. By opening 144 new stores in Morocco in
2025, it reached a total of 933 stores in the country while in Egypt, its
second international operation, it has 445 stores at the end of 2025. As of year-end
2025, BİM has 14,473 stores in Türkiye as well as Morocco and Egypt.
BİM continues to contribute to
the economy not only through its market size, but also through its investments
and employment generation. In 2025, the Company made consolidated capital
expenditures amounting to TL 19.2 billion, the majority of which were directed
to domestic investments. In addition, BİM created approximately 6 thousand new
jobs in 2025 and stands out by providing employment to more than 100 thousand
people on a consolidated basis.
